Florida 511 College Bowl Season

Toolkit CoverFootball is serious business in Florida, especially the college variety. The state of Florida will play host to 10 postseason college football games this December and January, including the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship in Tampa on Monday, January 9, 2017.

Because these games are synonymous with long travel distances and heavy game day traffic, the Florida Department of Transportation’s Florida 511 College Bowl Game Toolkit provides resources that encourage fans to use the Florida 511 Traveler Information System for arriving quickly, safely and on time.

The toolkit includes suggested article content, social media posts and public service announcements for use leading up to game day.

Please feel free to share the material on any of your platforms and with your network. Be sure to subscribe to any of the 13 statewide, regional or roadway-specific Florida 511 Twitter feeds to provide your followers with up-to-the-minute game day traffic information for roads around the stadium.
